Ammunition trucks were constantly supplying the batteries with the needed shell, fuses and powder charges. Because of the range of the guns they were not required to move as constantly as the smaller caliber weapons. Each Battery had 4 ten ton tractors to pull the guns, but the heavy trucks also were occasionally assigned the task of pulling the guns. 25 three ton trucks, assigned as follows: 20 Ammunition and 5 Supply trucks.
